- Storm Pasha Review
With San Francisco starting to get into our rainy and windy months, the Storm Pasha has arrived just in time! It's light enough to throw into my bag and then when needed layer over whatever I'm wearing so I can be shielded from the elements. The cut is perfect and flattering with long enough sleeves and torso for my tall frame. One of my favorite features that gets missed a lot of times, is the extra room in the hood so my whole head stays covered whether my hair is up or down. The Storm is definitely the favorite new addition to my wardrobe!
- Too short.
I'm 5'7" and a 12/14. I tried the large which I just barely got to zip it was so tight around my hips. (Same thing happened to my friend who is a size 0) Nice and roomy in the shoulders but borders on billowy..I even have a wide back and relatively busty.
The thing that I just really couldn't deal with though is the fact the sleeves are not long enough! When I extend my arms (as if I'm riding a bike....) the sleeves don't hit my wrist bone which I obviously want protected when riding through weather.
- Just about perfect
I love so much about this jacket - it really does stand up to storms as far as being waterproof goes, it keeps me warm (but also has vents!) and looks good. I use it mainly as a cycling rain jacket, but also love wearing it everywhere. It's made very well, and if it does eventually die of overuse I'd buy another in a heartbeat. It's also comfy!
I knocked a star because of the sizing. I had to get a large, because it was the only thing that I could zip up around my waist, and despite that, the sleeves are too short to give me proper riding covering. Not by much, but just enough, so be sure to pair it with thermal arm warmers! I'm 5'8" and usually wear a size small to medium, so the sizing of this jacket shocked me a bit (though I'll admit Chrome's sizes tend to run small for women).
I'd also love to see a little reflectivity. I use this with my Chrome Citizen Night, which makes me quite visible, but on the off chance I am just out and about on the bike it would be nice to have a bit of visibility.
Anyway, killer jacket. Keep up the good work, Chrome!
