I used a chrome citizen messenger bag all through highschool, when I didn't have to carry a laptop. When I was preparing to head off to college, I knew that I was going to need a bag that could hold my laptop along with the rest of my junk. Naturally, I went straight to the chrome webstore. Newly released was the Krakow. It met my needs: can hold my 15" laptop, is a decent size, but isn't big and bulky, and it's waterproof. I'm more than happy with the bag. I love being able to walk slowly to my classes and enjoy the rain, and never once have to worry about the stuff in my bag getting ruined. I also get compliments on the bag all the time. People love the way it looks.
I think there is only one thing that the bag is missing, and I think I might just add them in myself. I wish there were two buckle straps in the inside (or outside) of the velcro flap for holding in a rolled up coat or blanket, or for holding one of my large cardboard poster containers when I have to take my posters to art class. I think it would just be a neat little extra.
Great Bag(s). Great Company. Chrome for life.
The (almost) perfect bag

I've been looking for a replacement for my current messenger bag (which is 3 years old, but still sturdy) as I'll be an undergrad soon, and when my friend showed me his Chrome messenger bag, I thought it's the perfect choice. This bag is even better than that, as it has all the things an undergrad would need: laptop compartment, space to hold your notes and stationery, it's not too bulky, and it's rugged to boot!
The only downside to this bag (hence the 'almost' in the title!) is that the strap is made of a material that can get quite... musty, if exposed to sweat over a prolonged period. If you're not a person that sweat a lot, then you can jolly well take the 'almost' out of my review.
Great bag, great service

Love the bag - robust and stylish, taking good care of my laptop and not weighing me down. Very comfortable to ride with, and easily stashes away under my desk at work. Nice details, like the seat belt strap which closes the laptop compartment. Plus, guys at Chrome provided great service when there was an issue with one of the straps. All in all a great bag from guys who appear to care about the customer.
It's my best bag purchase

This bag is great! I had a friend who bought a medium Citizen and I couldn't shut him up on how awesome Chrome bags were. So I decided to toss my old, unreliable junky backpack and invest in something better. I love this bag. It carries my 15 MBP (if it's attached to the sleeve, it doesn't fit very well (design improvements?), but other than that, it carries what I need as a college design student-books, papers, supply paraphernalia and the like. I know the bag is waterproof, but a friend of mine pointed out that with the velcro flap, if the bag is carrying a bit of weight, the flap won't be completely covered and there is a slight opening in the side. What happens when it rains? Will my stuff inside the flaps get wet? (design #2 consideration?) (It has yet to rain profusely, but I'll keep you updated). Yeah, that would be terrible. The good side is that my computer in it's compacted sleeve will be safe, but I need more reliability than that.
Sometimes when I put the bag on, the velcro sides on the straps scratch my arm even though they are securely covered, which I find strange. Regardless of that, great bag! I'm a petite person and this bag isn't overpowering at all-suits perfectly. Definitely recommending Chrome to my friends.
Great Bag

The bag is great but it has room for improvement. I'm a college student so I needed something that could carry my monster of a laptop, books, and school supplies. It does a great job of that, and it's very comfortable too. The only problems I have with it are that I had to cut the top of the laptop sleeve in order to put in my 17" HP laptop. So if Chrome could maybe fix the sleeves so that they fit PC laptops as compared to just Apple that would be great. Also, when the backpack tends to get full the velcro tends to start opening. It would be awesome if Chrome included a buckle to keep the top flap down instead of relying on the velcro. Other than those minor problems, it's still a great bag. It rains often where I live and the bag keeps all my valuables dry and secure. I would recommend this bag to anyone who has alot of shit and needs a bag to hold it all.
