This is my everyday bag! I use this for about 3 days at a time, stuffing clothes, a makeup pouch, 2 utility pouches, and a bunch of loose stuff. Even though I'm only 5 feet tall, I haven't felt overwhelmed by the size. It is super accommodating without being overwhelming. The strap fits on my shoulder really well and I've not had a problem with being weighed down, which is very easy to do to me. This bag keeps me organized and let's me stay out for days at a time!

I've had my citizen messenger for a year and a half now. Most messenger bags are a pain to lug around--they aren't balanced correctly and cut into your shoulder. After doing extensive research comparing several brands and consulting a few of my friends, I bought the medium and haven't regretted it for a moment. Although I don't bike, it's perfect for commuting to and from school in the city. It has plenty of room for my laptop, a jacket, a notebook and book, plus a few other random small items including a water bottle (which i don't have to worry about since there's pockets big enough outside of the waterproof lining!) It's really nice to not worry about the bag getting wet since I always carry a laptop. Riding public transit every day means that I have to worry about pickpockets as well. The design of the bag prevents anyone from reaching a hand into your bag when you're not looking--and the huge strip of velcro and two buckles means that you're going to hear anyone trying to open it to reach in. My one and ONLY qualm is that being a girl that carries a Chrome and not a purse, I wish there were a few more compartments with zippers for keys, cellphone, etc. Overall, the best bag I have ever owned and if my bag ever wears out, I'll be buying Chrome again.

This bag simply rocks. I work in a semi-professional setting, and I get compliments on it from both younger and older types. It has a very lasting stylish quality,
Really enjoy the compartments, the water proof, the shoulder strap is well padded and widely spread.
My only complaint is the 'security' strap that wraps around the same exact arm that the strap rests on. Don't see how that keeps the bag from slipping, if anything it makes it lip more towards the same side anyways.
I wish this bag had a strap like the "PRO" version that makes it balanced, almost backpack like, by letting you hang the weight around both shoulders if you are carrying a heavy load. My commute is about 30 minutes on bike, and if I carry only a notebook and some papers and maybe a sweater, I am fine and don't experience pain. If I stick my laptop in there in addition, I really start getting all sorts of middle-back and shoulder pain, keep having to rotate the bag. My advice is use it for short commutes or for fun nights going out, not recommended for hauling encyclopedia's around.
All in all, however, thanks Chrome for making this awesome bag, it's an awesome part of my commuting and going out routine, very well (but not perfectly) designed, and very detailed while maintaining a relatively minimal look.

Disappointed.... here is why... the description states tweed and nubuck leather however the bag is made from poly materials on the exterior and the so called nubuck leather is actually pl-leather (synthetic leather). Very misleading description especially when what is expected is as described. I gave it 3.5 out of 5 since it's tried and true design and construction and my my only gripe was the misleading description.

I got the London Transport on Wednesay at the Chrome store in NYC awesome service haha it was a little more than a regular citizen though. I think the best part is the inner lining its a really awesome and durable bag.

Best bag of my life... Wish it had more pockets but I make things work.... Fits a lot but I wanna fit more... Very durable bag though.... Gonna upgrade to a metropolis very soon...

I won this bag at a scooter rally a year ago and been using it every day. It has even saved my life once, I was going home from work and as I pulled out a car from a side street came out and t-boned me, the bag toke all the road rash ( with only a 1in x 2in mark ) I love this bag

I just got my first Citizen today. it was smaller than i expected (i have to say i bought this bag without enough research) but I'm loving it already. The only one thing that i wanna say is that this bag would have been way better if this bag had more and bigger pockets inside or outside. Still this bag is really cool though. i will use this everyday!
