I'm an illustration student who rides a fixed gear to school. The symmetrical design of this backpack is good as it stays in place on my back (with the adjustable features also) which makes it easy to ride, and is a great deep squared bag for carrying both my macbook and art projects in without damaging corners. The main compartment of the bag is quite roomy. If it were any bigger I would think that it would be able to carry too much and cause it to be overweight.
It has a really simplistic pocket designs in which there's one on the exterior flap that's perfect for your cell phone, keys, lock etc. The other pockets are various sizes, all zippered shut and waterproof. It's nice to have deep and shallow pockets.
I love this bag for how strong and durable it is, as well as it's simplistic nature. As a student/commuter, there's no need for excessive pockets and organization. This is a raw bag and it's beautiful. And also a great size for a woman without being overwhelming.
