I picked this puppy up back in the spring and it's the one item I wear every day. Rain, shine, sleet, snow, hail or whatever else is happening in New York at any given time, the Hip Pouch is there with me through it all. Lock, keys, phone, wallet and smokes in the day and the aforementioned plus a Buddy Tall Boy at night (to pregame before hitting the bars til 4am). The Hip Pouch just may be the most useful thing that I own. That's that.

It may feel impractical spending this kind of dough on what's essentially a fanny pack, but you'll understand where the money went to when you actually have the bag- it holds everything you need for mini-excursions, roguishly stylish, and, best of all, built to last. The u-lock holder, like it's overall minimal design, is inspired. It seriously streamlines what you carry.
It sits well on the belt, as long as you're not carrying anything weighty inside. A good load would be your crucial things (i.e. keys, wallet, cell phone, and etc.) PLUS a few bigger things like a pencil case, a spare tube, and a pump.
My only real qualm with the bag is that it tapers towards the bottom, which forces you to use it's volume more thoughtfully. But, really, the Hip Pouch is meant to carry necessities.
Bottom line: buy it- you'll never look back.
(Also, if you're worried about this bag being too effeminate, don't; There's nothing ornate or delicate about it)

I love my hop pouch. It gives me the opportunity to grab things on the bike when I can't get into my ranchero. It's durable, useful, and a great addition to my carry-all arsenal. I've had it for a couple months now, and have no problems at all!
Totally worth people making fun of my "fanny pack".

this hip bag is the best! i love it!! i got it as a gift and loved it ever since. i usually put a tube, a small pump, wrench, allen key, wallet key and phone in it with my u lock and totally do not notice it on my side! it is perfectly secure since it loops in with your belt! i can usually fit a small water bottle in there too if i had take out some things. another reason why i love this bag is i am usually paranoid about losing my wallet and phone when i ride my bike but with this bag i feel completely safe not losing my stuff ( i keep my wallet in the internal zipper..YES IT HAS A INTERNAL ZIPPER!!!!! sooooo good!) the only negative thing about this bag is the haters out there that keep calling it a fanny pack, it gets quite annoying but screw them!!!

Fanny packs are funny, yeah, but I have had a lot of back problems, from my neck to my feet. But having this little pack has saved me about fourty-five minutes a week, when my work is speed based, and has allowed me to put my money bag and chrome wallet in there so as to make bike riding and sitting less stressful on my back. So my back, neck, and bottom love it!

at first i thought "why the hell would you want a fanny pack?". but as you begin to slip on the slippery slope of the fixie hipster scene the realization of the usefullness of this little bag begins to haunt you. your mini u-lock starts to spend its time pressed against your skinny pants and your belt.
purchasing your PBR becomes troublesome every time you have to take off your mess bag and dig through three days of dirty couch-crashing clothes and a sticker covered mac book just to get a hold of your wallet.
if a hot hipster girl covered in tattoos wearing thick rim glasses asks you for an american spirit, do you want to lose out to that D-bag just cause he can access his smokes faster and grow a dirty irish hipster beard? hell no!
after realizing these FACTS(not chances, facts of life) i realized this small bag was the only thing i ever needed in my whole life and to go another second without it may cause sudden inevitable squaredom!! fortunatly my brother saved my fixie skidding, spoke card using, cycling cap wearing ass by getting me one for Christmas.
so please, please, don't take this item lightly. if you want to be some D-bag drinking his starbucks in his tights and jersey with his full carbon(geared *gasp*) trek locked up, then go ahead, don't buy it. but if you want to live in hipster nirvana long enough to see your next alleycat race then you know what to do.

I was hesitant to go for a hip pouch, especially as a girl with smaller hips and frame. I wear a size 2/4 and wasn't sure how this would work for me.
But I went for it and love it. No longer sticking a cold lock down my pants! Holds my mini u lock perfectly and can fit all that I ever need for daily use.
Perfect to ride light with the essentials on hand.

I ordered a brown hip pouch a few months ago. I use it on every ride! this thing holds a spare tube, tire levers, multi tool, 15mm snubbie wrench, Co2 inflater, ID, bus pass, granola bar (sometimes), and my u lock. Whether I'm commuting or just out for a fun ride this pouch is on my hip.

Great hip pouch. It's very durable, light weight, and roomy. It's definitely worth the money.

Product is extremely well made and thought out, including the interior zipper and tarp liner interior. Keeps me from carrying around my bike bag everywhere, especially when going to bars/shows. Fits all I need including U-Lock, Pump, Tube, PDW nut wrench, Tire Levels, and multi-tool. I recommend NOT GETTING THE BLACK ONE, POLICE/BOUNCERS have definitely given me a double take because IT LOOKS LIKE A GUN HOLSTER, AT NIGHT, FROM A GLANCE. I exchanged it and got the blue and yellow, which is dope. Thanks Chrome.
