Great Turkey Chase Recap
November 30, 2009 / Burlington, VT
Thirty-nine bicyclists showed up to take part in the 2nd Annual Great Turkey Chase 2009. Attendance was tripled from last year and 556lbs of food along with 7 turkeys was donated. A warm 55-degree day hosted these riders as they made their way through a 15-mile course comprising of ten mandatory stops to collect a canned or boxed item predetermined on the manifest sheet.
When it was all said and done Aaron Simmers successfully defended his title in the fixed gear division and Peter Troy took first in the geared class. Here are some pics from the day:
