I managed to pull off my first victory of the year.  I took the overall win in the Kirkwood Challenge Super D mtb race.  I didn’t just win my class I was the fastest overall guy.  Admittedly, it wasn’t the most competitive race, but a wins a win and I’m stoked. 

Feels great to pull a victory.  I was a hero to my kids and my wife almost looked impressed.

I had entered the XC race on Saturday and tried to do it, but because of a left ring-finger injury in the crash I was having trouble holding on to the bars.  I dropped out after 1 lap of 3. Bummer.

Overall a great time!!!
